Now, she has again taken a dig at him as he considered the ‘Hindi language’ as a “downmarket” thing in his autobiography, An Unsuitable Boy.
Kangana Ranaut took to her Instagram story and slammed the head honcho of Dharma Productions. She wrote, “I don’t fight individuals, I fight mindsets. In his autobiography, Karan wrote that he once considered Hindi a “downmarket” thing. The extract from the book reads, “Yes, as a child, I was in the company of star kids. I knew Hrithik (Roshan), Abhishek (Bachchan), Shweta (Bachchan), Zoya (Akhtar), and Farhan (Akhtar). I was always closer to the girls, Shweta and Zoya. The boys were very bratty, especially Abhishek (he is four years younger than me) and Farhan. I never really got along with them. I never liked them. And Adi (Aditya Chopra) and gang always spoke a lot in Hindi. That was something I couldn’t bear.”
Interestingly, Karan had said that he did not like Aditya Chopra for speaking in Hindi. The ‘My Name Is Khan’ director also shared that he used to tell his mother Hiroo that he did not want to go to Aditya’s house because he spoke Hindi.
Earlier, Kangana wrote while mocking Koffee With Karan 7, “Papa jo is promoting all famous coffee episode as it premieres on OTT today, good luck to papa jo… but what about this episode of sorry!!! surgical strike, ghar mein ghusss ke mara tha na, my episode is his most popular episode and after this he got banned on tv (sic)”
